In his first season with the Lakers, Madsen helped guide the team to a 26-42 record, a six-win improvement from the previous season.

Roster

The Los Angeles Lakers have a loaded roster for the 2017 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

The team will be led by No. 2 overall pick Lonzo Ball, who is expected to make his professional debut in the summer league. The Lakers also have a number of other talented young players on their summer league roster, including Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, and Josh Hart. Ingram, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, averaged 9.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per game as a rookie last season. Kuzma, who was acquired by the Lakers in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets on draft night, is a 6’9” forward who averaged 16.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game as a junior at the University of Utah last season. Hart, who was acquired by the Lakers in a trade with the Utah Jazz on draft night, is a 6’5” guard who averaged 18.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as a senior at Villanova last season.
